WWE’s Most Valuable Superstar Assets

As 2012 comes to a close, WWE’s roster appears to be the most promising it’s been in recent years. There’s a strong presence of proven main eventers, such as John Cena, Randy Orton and CM Punk, coupled with quality up-and-comers like Ryback, Wade Barrett and Antonio Cesaro. With such a breadth of talent types, 2013 promises to be an exciting year in WWE.

Before reading (and reacting to) the list, it’s important to understand which aspects of each Superstar’s game were assessed to create this very unconventional list. THIS IS NOT a listing of the most successful or popular Superstars. Additionally, this is not a list of the Superstars with the brightest futures. Instead, to compile WWE’s Most Valuable Superstar Assets, this list takes the following items into account (in order):

- Placement on the card over the last 12 months
- Drawing power or ticket-selling ability
- Presumed placement on the card over the next 12 months
- Potential for success beyond 2013
- Merchandising (current and forecasted future sales)
- Crowd reaction and overall acceptance of each Superstar
- Note: The list is limited to full-time male Superstars only
